The patterns calls for an 18″ x 7″ piece of Lugana for the stitched portion of the box, a 7″ x 6″ piece of Lugana to cover the bottom of the box, and a 7″ x 7″ piece of Lugana for the pincushion. A fat eighth is all that is needed if only stitching the box, and a fat quarter would be enough to cover all the fabric requirements.
